Coffee subscription questions.

Ask us a question
How does Tempo by Typo work?

Choose your amount, preferred coffee, grind and delivery schedule. Pick a favourite from our core range, or choose Roaster's pick: a different coffee from our current range, picked by us. Subscribe and pay per delivery.

Can I buy coffee without subscribing?

Yes. Choose One-time and pick your coffee. Prices use the regular retail bags: two 250g packs of Manaca or Regional cost €28. Delivery is free in the Republic of Ireland on orders from €40.

Which size should I choose?

500g arrives as two 250g packs. 1kg arrives in one bag. 2kg arrives as two 1kg bags.

Which coffee will I receive?

Choose Regional, Manaca or Decaf as your preferred coffee at the same Tempo prices. Your preference applies to the whole delivery, including both packs in 500g and 2kg deliveries. Or choose Roaster's pick: a different coffee from our current range, picked by us.

Can I change my preferred coffee?

Email info@typo.ie before your next dispatch and we can update your coffee preference. Your size, grind and delivery schedule can stay the same.

How much does Tempo cost?

€28 for 2 × 250g, €36 for 1kg or €68 for 2kg per delivery. Republic of Ireland delivery is included. Your subscription renews on your selected schedule until you cancel.

Can I pause or cancel?

Ongoing Tempo can be paused, skipped, changed or cancelled from your account.

Whole bean or ground?

Choose whole bean or your brewing method for ground coffee. Ground coffee is packed and dispatched on Mondays only. Orders placed after Monday's grinding run, including Monday evenings, ship the following Monday.

How much does delivery cost?

Tempo subscriptions include Republic of Ireland delivery. One-time orders qualify for free Republic of Ireland delivery from €40. We also deliver to Northern Ireland, with rates shown at checkout. We do not currently deliver elsewhere.

Is there a minimum commitment?

Ongoing Tempo has no minimum commitment.

What if I don't like the coffee?

Tell us. We'll swap the next bag for something that suits you better. If we can't get it right, we'll refund.

Delivery

Orders and delivery.

How much does delivery cost?

Every Tempo delivery within the Republic of Ireland is included in the price. For other orders, available rates for your address are shown at checkout.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver within the Republic of Ireland and to Northern Ireland. Rates for your address are shown at checkout.

When will my order be dispatched?

In-stock whole-bean orders placed before 3pm, Monday to Friday, are usually dispatched the same day, excluding public holidays. Repeat Tempo deliveries follow your chosen schedule.

When does pre-ground coffee ship?

Pre-ground coffee follows our weekly grinding schedule, so it can take a few days longer to dispatch than whole bean.

Coffee

The bags.

Whole bean or ground?

Whichever suits your kit. Choose whole bean, espresso, Moka pot, AeroPress, V60, Chemex or cafetière grind. Whole bean keeps its flavour longer.

When should I brew it?

For espresso, brew from one to four weeks post-roast. For filter, start around one week; lighter coffees often open up after two weeks. Store your valve-sealed bag in a cool, dry place and use the roast date to follow how it develops.

Cafes

The windows.

Where are the cafes?

Maynooth GAA, Leixlip GAA and St Lomans GAA in Mullingar. Addresses, maps and hours are on our locations page.
